If you have a domain that is managed by Squarespace, it can be set up with Fastmail for email hosting. The DNS records for the domain will need to be updated in order to properly configure it.
Squarespace has an automatic setup option and a manual setup option for adding the DNS records.
Automatic setup
Squarespace offers a third-party email preset for Fastmail that allows you to easily set up your Squarespace domain with Fastmail.
To add the preset, follow these steps:
- Open your Squarespace domains dashboard.
- Click the domain you're setting up.
- In the side panel, click DNS.
- Click Add preset in the top-right corner, then select Fastmail from the dropdown menu.
- Enter your password, or if you have two-factor authentication (2FA) enabled, you'll need to reauthenticate your account with your 2FA method. Click Continue.
- Click Add to add the preset.
If you need any help setting up the preset, Squarespace support should be able to provide assistance.
Manual setup
If preferred, you can manually set up DNS records for your domain.
